Sorry for a long hiatus. This happen due to certain reason

1. doesn't have time to update my job blog (pelik, tapi blog personal boleh pulak ber-update.. haih~)

2. There is a time when i'm in the mood to update this blog, but unfortunately i don't have material to blog about. ~ habis idea

3. I no longer taking picture before and after working (kerana kebiasaannya keadaan semasa dan selepas makeup adalah sangat tight dan hiatus. Tak perlulah saya tambah lagi kelam kabut pengantin ketika itu) Therefore, there's nothing to show in my blog, as i don't have any picture on me.

4. Menunggu "official picture" from "the official photographer" adalah seperti menunggu bulan jatuh ke riba.

5. I didn't bring my own photographer or any helper/ assistant anymore. And for your acknowledge, i usually bring my 3yo daughter with me whenever i go makeup. Bermakna, tangan cukup-cukup aje nak buat kerja. Ambil gambar memang tak ada chan.

Wow, i can't believe i can come out with 5 reason for not updating~~ However, i will try my best to update from time to time. Next time, if i got extra helping hand, then i will manage to snap few picture during my job, i will post it here :) Wish me luck on that~

22nd february. Tarikh keramatnya. I just got a chance to upload her picture today. Almost a month already~ haha~ whateva!

Owh... i LOVE her color theme and concept! Simple, sweet, yet elegance! Just like the enggagement theme, the requested a very simple natural look on her makeup, just enough to enhance her look, defined her beautiful eyes without overdone with color.

Simple said, amazing and timeless!

Not forget to mention, she didn't wear any false eyelashes, but she look great, no?

Last entry i post about her bridesmaids and flower girls that i makeup on her reception day (bride side). The day after, the reception on groom side took place. I makeup Emeli herself.

This is my last year job. I lost this picture file before so i could not blog about it until just now. Perfect timing when i am about to reveal a new package: Pengapit and pengiring makeup package.

Normal price makeup for pengapit is RM80.

Normal price makeup for pengiring (3 to 4 person) is RM65/person

Now, Pengapit and pengiring makeup package is RM300 for 5 person and RM260 for 4 person. (tak kisah lah dia pengapit ka, pengiring ka, flower girl ka, famili ka, kawan-kawan ka... asalkan grouping makeup for the same wedding venue)

Picture below is some of the flower girl, pengapit, and pengiring that i makeup on Emeli's wedding last year.

The flower girls are Emeli's sister. They're just teenagers, so i make my makeup as light as possible. They are too young to be expose with all those chemicals! haha~~~ i mean, they are all pretty as they are. Glowing with their youthful. Is that rite?

2 of the pengapit is Emeli's best friend. 1 for the groom side, and another one for the bride side. I put a simple fresh look for both of them, just the right amount of colors to make them look sweet and lovely.

Seperti tahun lepas, tahun ini Petite Touch akan menganjurkan kelas Personal grooming dan makeup. Bagi yang berminat untuk menyertai kelas Petite Touch, berikut adalah serba sedikit info berkenaan kelas tersebut.

Tarikh :

Lokasi : Pusat tusyen Shah Alam.

Kapasiti: maksimum 10 orang

Yuran penyertaan : RM150

Peserta akan mendapat:

~ sijil penyertaan

~ makan tengah hari

kelas akan terbahagi kepada 2 sesi.

Sesi 1 (9.30am - 12.30pm) - personal grooming

Sesi tatarias diri ini berbentuk ceramah dan praktikal. Anda akan mempelajari untuk memahami bentuk badan dan bentuk muka anda, dan kemudian gaya serta penampilan yang sesuai dengan bentuk badan anda.

Anda juga akan didedahkan dengan psikologi warna dan corak dalam pemilihan fabrik serta pakaian anda. Warna dan corak apa kah yang sesuai dengan anda sebenarnya? Adakah anda sesuai memakai corak bunga-bunga, atau anda perlu kekal dengan warna-warna pastel? Sertai kelas petitetouch untuk menetahuinya....

Selain itu, anda juga akan didedahkan dengan gaya-gaya tudung dan lilitan shawl terkini. Anda juga akan mempelajari kaedah untuk berpakaian menepati acara. Ingat, bling-bling melampau tak sesuai untuk dipakai ke pejabat... tapi tanpa seurat perhiasan pula akan membuat anda kelihatan boring! Jadi, bagaimana caranya untuk menyeimbangkan pakaian dan 'accessories' anda? Semua ini akan dapat anda pelajari di kelas grooming petite touch.

Lunch Hour (12.30 - 2.00pm)

Sesi 2 (2.00pm - 6.00pm) - personal makeup

Sesi petang adalah tertumpu kepada personal makeup. Anda akan diperkenalkan dengan makeup dan 'tools' yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan makeup yang cantik. Selain itu anda akan diajar untuk mengenal jenis kulit dan tona kulit anda.

Setelah anda diperkenalkan dengn makeup dan kulit muka, anda akan didedahkan dengan jenis-jenis makeup serta demonstrasi makeup oleh instructor. Anda akan mempelajari 2 jenis makeup; makeup siang/ ke pejabat/ natural fresh makeup dan makeup dramatic/ makeup malam.

Selesai demonstrasi, peserta akan mencuba mengaplikasi makeup ke muka masing-masing, sambil di perhati oleh instructor. Teknik anda akan di perbetul dan tak perlu takut anda tersalah, kerana instructor sentiasa ada untuk membantu anda. Anda juga tak perlu bimbang sekiranya barangan makeup anda tidak lengkap, ini kerana kami akan menyediakan barang makeup untuk sesi hands-on ini. Tetapi adalah lebih baik jika anda boleh membawa makeup anda sendiri, kerana inilah masanya untuk anda belajar cara menggunakan makeup tersebut.. Iya kan?

Sebelum sesi terakhir, iaitu sesi bergambar dan berposing, anda akan didedahkan dengan satu lagi topik yang penting, iaitu keseimbangan dalam solekan dan pakaian. Di sini anda akan diajar untuk bersederhana (less is more) untuk kelihatan fabulous dan gorgeous. Apa yang penting adlah pemilihan pakaian dan makeup yang tepat.

Selepas sesi bergambar, kami akan mengadakan acara pemberian sijil dan kelas akan diakhiri dengan minum petang.

Jangan lepaskan peluang keemasan ini. Anda tidak akan rugi menyertai kelas ini. Instructor adalah professional makeup artist yang berpengalaman. Dibantu pula oleh model muslimah serta finalist covergirl Nur. Sudah pasti banyak yang anda dapat pelajari dari barisan tenaga pengajar ini. The solemnization took place on Friday 10th December, after Asar. Alhamdulillah, everything goes well, and i am satisfied with my job.

The base and foundation is quite thick, and it took more effort to make it blend with her original skin shade, but i try my best to make it look natural and lite, just presentable enough for solemnization ceremony.

Zuraini"s Outdoor Photoshoot (post-wedding)

The outdoor photoshoot was done on 30th November, at the nearest "jeti" just few miles from bride house.

The makeup was simple but elegance, and the couple choose grey color theme.

The reception of Zurini & Ili was taken place on the same day, at 1.30pm. After a few photoshoot session with the photographer, the bride get back to their room, touch up, prepare and get ready for next event.

The makeup was still simple. I just simply darken the eyes to make it a lil bit smokey, and added more on her cheek as well to make it balance. I also changed the false lashes, from natural lite to medium heavy lashes. They choose red and cream color for their reception, which i think suit them well! The bride look really gorgeous and glow effortlessly~

We are actually best friend during childhood. Suddently we lost contact for several years (i think about 10 year!). I met her before i married to gave my invitation card, but apparently she didn't came on my wedding~ and... maybe bacause of takdir.. we met again, and guess what.. she's getting married!

She booked me and my husband as a makeup artist and photographer on her special day :) We are honored with the trusted that they gave us. I did my best on her, and i hope she love it!

Petite touch is now preparing for a personal grooming and make-up class that will be held on this december.

Objective

This course provides techniques and skills during the training for the interested participants to make them

1) feel and look great,

2) comfortable and confident with own body

3) finding their inner strength,

4) project themselves positively,

5) act confidently, and

6) learnt all about make-ups, how to use and choose it correctly

Who Should Attend

Teachers, young adult, working adult, secretary, housewives, receptionist, customer service, front liners, graduates trainees, ladies, anyone above 16 years old.

Date of class: 18th December 2010

Location: will be inform later. (kami masih mencari tempat yang lebih luas dan selesa)

Registration: open from 16th nov until 5th December 2010. Deposit should be paid within 48 hours after reservation of seat.

Some of the details you guys should know about this class:

1. Its a 1 day full class. divide into 2 ssession, morning session and evening session.

2. Maximum 10 students/class. Seats are limited

3. The fee is RM175/person. deposit 50% is needed upon registration. No back out once your seat is confirmed.

The makeup was done at my office. They confirm with 4 person to makeup, but end up many teachers on waiting. Sorry, but i only can finish 4 person, as expected, due to time limitation. 3 of them request a false lashes, (means more time required), while another 1 have to forget about the false lashes coz she's wearing a specs~ (kalau tak habis semua 4 orang pakai lashes. haha~)

The picture also very limited, because the photographer had to do another job, that is to baby sit my doter! wah la wei~ i'm a very busy mom that saturday~ sigh~~~

She came to my office at Seksyen 6 Shah Alam for a makeup. She's coming all the way from Terengganu O__O for an interview at banking company & test shoot at karangkraf Shah Alam. So, i suggest a fresh natural look for her, which is suitable for both events; test shoot and bank interview. (tindakan yang bijak bila dia bawa 2 pakaian yang sama color untuk 2 event berbeza. mudah nak mix and match everything, including makeup).

Hi guys,

i'm still waiting for the official picture from the photographer for few wedding/ nikah ceremony. well, there's no doubt that picture from the hands of pro (and with very good gadget as well) is nicer than my picture. We can get clearer picture from a photographer, with nice angle and lighting, the make-up will stand out beautifully!

However, it takes time to get the better one rite..(kena banyak sabarrr) So, by now, just enjoy the picture of Sha, during her enggagement last month. (last month!! what took me soo long to update?~). picture taken by me.

It's been a looooooooooooong time....

finally i manage to update my blog. Well, my blog update became soo slow, coz i had nothing to update (siapa pulak nak kawen bulan puasa kan..)

Actually a had few job during fasting month. 2 walk-in customer; 1 for family photoshoot while another for trial makeup. I also attended a "very-last-minute-notice" event, the runway show at Malaysian Institute of Bakery (MIB).

well, i guess i don't have to show the trial makeup final look here, as the runway show captures more intention then any other job around!

Thanks to my model friend, Noural Huda and Jannah Heaven (al-yamani abayah) for this opportunity, again! nice knowing you all, and it's a pleasure working with all of you :) (ini kali kedua kami bekerjasama sebagai satu kumpulan belakang tabir)

As usual, the favourite theme ever (or soo called "theme of the year"!), arabian night~~! Those sharp, dramatic, strong eyes of arabic style really captures everyone's hearts. Pair it with nude color on the lips and earthy color on cheek...wallah!! The models are ready to go!!

Runway Show from Hajaba Boutique during Samrah Festivals @ pavillion

Another last minute work. I'd been called at 11++ in the morning to do a makeup for 2 models for a runway show that night. It's friday, and i don't have other job, so i said yes.

I am officially a makeup artist for this 2 models, but they told me to be prepared in case i need to touch up a bunch of other model backstage.

Overall, i'm quite satisfied with the end result, except the fact that i don't have enough time to study enough about the theme that night; which is arabic. I just know the theme when i was there, at Hajaba Boutique during briefing. (wish i know it a lil bit earlier, so i can plan my theme look with more dramatic and vibrant color combination!)

Anyway, we all had fun there. The makeup artist (there are 5 of us if i'm not mistaken. 4 of them was called by Get gorgeous.com), the models (hajaba models and getgorgeous models), the crews, and everyone who involved to make the event successful, we all having fun! Not to forget an outstanding performance by Debu from Indonesia. Their performance are energetic, their songs are catchy, and they are smoking hot! haha~~

usherer for SKVE opening

i'd been asked to makeup 4 model a.k.a usherer for SKVE highway opening ceremony. without thinking much, i agreed with the offer, without knowing that they only provide me 2 hours in the morning! oh gosh! what a hectic and chaotic day!

After 2 hour, i only finish 2 models and just started with the 3rd one. The management start to "bising-bising" asked us to hurry up. They just don't know that makeup took longer than they expected. (hello, makeup seorang pon paling koman 40 minit. 30 minit boleh la kalau tanpa falsie, simple gile punya. Ini.. nak sanggul bagai...! how?)

So, mana-mana model yang dah siap dulu, keluar pergi rehersal dulu. So, i miss my 2 model. Tak sempat nak ambil gambar 2 model tu (yang 2 orang ni model muslimah, bertudung).

I only manage to take picture another 2 model here. Sempat sebab berdua ni takes more time, nak buat sanggul.

Fiza's engagement

She booked me for her engagement day. And again... i saw green!. I dun know why, but i guess this year, green is dominating. Overall so far, there's 5 weddings that i was invited, in green color. Is it the color of the year or something?...

So, this is Fiza. She's very satisfy with the end result. I'm glad she loves my touch. I hope i can work with her again someday.. for her big day, end of this year, maybe? haha~

the trial was done about 5 month ago.. and the solemnization was on this June. I simply put it on the same post here.

Anyway, the makeup was done at the hotel near to Masjid Wangsa Maju. The solemnization and the kenduri all done at the masjid there. The ceremony started at 8.30. I came about 7++ in the morning, and i was late!! 1st time ever, i was late! gosh!!! i promise her to came at 6.30, but so many problem happen that morning, luckily i can finally arrived savely -_-" But, as my expectation, we cannot finish everything on just 1 hour++. So we all late. At 8.30, we are all still in the hotel, whiles the tok kadi and the groom already at masjid... sorry! my mistakes!

the trial makeup, 5 month ago. She not confirm with the theme color and outfit yet, but already booked the makeup :)

Ready to go to masjid for her nikah. It was 8.40am and we are late (imam was waiting...)

see? "seri pengantin" only come out on the wedding day. The makeup will standout for itself with the help of the full outfit and tudung/ accessories; and such. I don't mind if you want to make a trial makeup, but the overall look and the glow will only appear on your special day. You cannot see the full image of you during trial.

But, i am still open if you wish for trial :) do call me for reservation, okey!

Liana's solemnization

another job on early June at Bandar Baru Bangi. Not much to say. She's easy to work with and i had a wonderful time (as usual). Well, if you love what you do, you will enjoy it every second, isn't it?

Green is her theme. Very soft green, pair with cream color. She look very sweet on her solemnization. :)

haslifah's wedding @ bukit jelutung

She requested a simple makeup for "majlis sambut menantu" at husband's side. It's a very simple ceremony, (both bride and groom only wear a matching blue color baju batik, sedondon), no bling-bling. They keep it simple and sweet. Afterall, it just a 'sambut menantu' ceremony, isn't it? The real event will be on the next day at concorde. That's another reason why they want to keep it light and easy on the 'majlis sambut menantu'

Haslifah prefer to use her own foundation and base, which is from Dior. I had no problem with that. In fact, she's more comfortable with it, and kinda worried about how her skin would reacted on others brand foundation. (her nikah's makeup, which is not by me btw, had burst a lot of pimples and rashes @_@) She never want to take anymore risks on that. Anyway, Anything that makes my client happy, i will be happy to do it :) ;)

using Dior snow base and foundation (her own collection. i applied it for her) loose powder and the rest is by me.

please be note that Dior snow is a liquid foundation. Which mean, The coverage is light-medium. There's no way to get a full coverage using that. (the only way to get a full/ thick coverage is by using cream-base foundation) It's exactly what my client want; light-simple makeup. I already advised her on that, and she happy with the result.

The makeup was done at Duta Vista before the bride and groom (and the 'rombongan' of course) drove to groom's house at Selayang.

She requested a light - natural (suci) look makeup. No heavy-heavy lashes and eyeshadow ya! (what a funny words i'm using -_-')

personal makeup lesson for zero knowledge

was held on my hubby's showroom (my makeup studio is not completed yet). It's a one to one personal makeup lesson for zero knowledge. Like i mentioned, its a one to one session, so the student was Najwa. I hope she can learn something from my class :)

(sorry, this only the picture i got. my cameraman was gone somewhere in the middle of the class T__T. So no picture after the makeover session. There's a hands-on session actually after the demo by instructor)

here's some info about the class:

1. can be one to one session, or grouping class (with minimum 4 person and max 10 person per session).

2. Its a personal makeup lesson, for zero knowledge. Meaning, its an introduction for makeup, the basic and load with useful tips you can apply on your own at home :) i try to make all techniques easy to do and practical for personal application, without need to use the professional tools (hello, not everyone is crazy enough to buy a complete professional tools, just for their daily makeup, aite?)

3. only RM200 for one to one session, and RM150 per person for grouping session.

4. register 4 seats, FREE 1 seat! register for a grouping class minimum 4 person, and you get 1 FREE seat. 5 person with a price of 4. good bargain huh!

5. Student will get FREE sponge, tip applicators, pair of eyelashes, face mirror, and makeup remover sheets.

its been a looooooon hiatus. The thing is, my streamix line got problem, and they took about a week to send the technician to fix it. So, we gave up and balik kampung for 3 days. Then i got a fever + cough and i got a headache that need me to do nothing except sleeping. Once my fever gone, my doter sudah kena! OMG... i take care of her day and night. luckily she just sleeping quitely coz i already gave her antibiotic and other medicine from doctor (i guess she sudah 'lalok', effected from the drugs inside the medicine).

so, few weeks before was a really hiatus to me and my family. Lucky today i have a chance to update my blog :) finally! (we are getting ready to hit to jusco j-card day today!)

ok, enough about my self. here's Enny. She got engaged :) 1 thing about her room.... wallah!!!! after a looooong break, i'm back! hello fella!

My recent job this month, was at Hulu Langat. 1st time ever since i started this makeup job, i have to go there by myself. My hubby got another photoshoot job at Muar, and he left me 'terkontang-kanting' here. lucky me, my brother was not working on that particular day, so i 'paksa' him to be a driver on that day! and, guest what, kami sesat kat jalan ampang!!!! phew! funny!

The event took place on 2 day, saturday for nikah, and sunday for her reception. Alhamdulillah, everything goes well, even though we 'sesat-barat', we still got there on time...:)

last week job was in Port Dickson. It's kinda holiday for all of us. My lil' juwita really had fun, enjoy herself at the beach playing sand and kite. My hubby is a seafood lover, so PD is a perfect place for him! we had a wonderful seafood and ikan bakar at bagan lalang on the 1st night, while on the 2nd night, we went to medan ikan bakar tanjung teluk. Thanks to his usefull gadget that bring us all there!

While everyone enjoy the vacation, i had an important job to do. Imee Shahnaz solemnization was on 26th February. We start makeup quite early, because the ceremony takes place around 11a.m.

Another job i'd done few weeks ago. I think right now i wanted to finish posting all my job on february, before march coming in. I just came back from Port Dickson (to be exact, kpg pachitan), its a makeup job cum holiday for us; i mean my family. For those who already know me or hired me before, they should know that petite touch is a family group. I always bring my hubby, and i never leave my daughter behind. When you call me for a makeup job, i surely bring the whole family! But dun worry, you only have to pay my service, both of them comes in package together-gether with me. No extra charges! haha..

phew... at last i got time to update my blog. i was too busy lately and end up too tired at night to update this makeup blog. anyway, Lina's solemnization was done on 21st February at her parent house in kampung penchala.

Her family is such a unique and rich with culture. Her parent is Muslims, while some of her aunts and cousins are not. They speak 3 languages in their house; mostly tamil and english, and sometimes malay. Her so call BFF, is chinese! Can you imagine how unique the event was? Its like a mix of all races, culture, religion and language! and all respect each other's culture, and having fun at the same time! real 1 Malaysia indeed. I'm just happy to see how peaceful malaysia is. We can have a wedding celebration in peace, with all races respect each others. What more can we ask for?

My entry become a bit patriotic now heh heh... lets just get back to the main topic here...

atikah engagement (quick update)

This is just a quick update. Another makeup job i'd done last sunday. I forgot to snap her picture before makeup, while after makeup i was kinda hurry to catch up another event (rush rush babe), so not much picture of her in my collection.

I start the makeover at 12 noon (goshh!! it was sooo hot, sangat2 bahang!) Even me was sweating like hell, can u imagine how does she like during the makeup session? with she already wearing her lace and sequinn baju kurung, and the room condition not much helping us... uhhh! i have to touch up her face and neck few times during the makeup session. 1 big fan was facing us, but no, it doesn't do much help. When i did the hairdo, her neck was sweating and so her head... dugaan... dugaan...

i'm glad today is raining. at least it help the earth to cool down a bit. The global warming really really effecting us. i read somewhere that few days ago, malaysia was 35 degree celcius!!!! OMG!!

well, hopefully atikah's bright, radiance face will cool down the rombongan meminang yang datang! haha, whut eva!

Last minutes booking client. She was lucky i was free that evening, and able to spend my time (with family) at putrajaya for her night photoshoot session. It was a hectic day for her (nikah in the morning, straight way for reception and kenduri kendara at shah alam. On evening she rush to putrajaya for a photoshoot)

Makeup was done at her friend's house, before she catch up with the marathon people around putrajaya. Their idea was, to get a night photoshoot with a marathon as a background! what a unique and brilliant idea!! (both bride and groom are marathon-holic, they suppose to run that night if they are not married that day :P)

Unfortuately, i didn't get the photo from the photographer yet (me, myself was excited so see the result!) hopefully she can give me few copy of her night photoshoot later. So now, i just can show you all some photos taken from an amateur hand (^_^) I really hope i can get few picture from her soon. =)

hi ladies!

i am very2 sorry for not updating my blog for such a long time. It's not that i don't want to update, not because i am buzy (as those who realize, i did update my personal blog frequently) and its also not because i don't have any job lately (haha!)

i have few small makeup job on januari ( so call emergency/ urgent job)... something like A is calling me on thursday, asking me to makeup her on saturday for xxx event... phew.. that was tiring man.. (well, kalau takde job besar dan masa lapang, boleh la layan kerja serta merta macam ni hehee). There's also certain client who did not want her face to be uploded online. Segan gamaknya, very the malu ayu kan... so, i have to respect her decision. After all, what important is i did my job, they satisfied, and i got the money...that's business! hehehe...

Here, i would like to thank you all for your support. Thank a bunch to all the blogger who support me, advertise my blog, doing advertorials, reviewed my services on your blog... you guys are rock! without you guys, i would definitely not in this position today. Maybe i will still merangkak-rangkak to put my name among the makeup artist online. Thanks a lot guys!

Trial make-up - Ara, Hulu Langat

This trial makeup was done yesterday (30/12/09), which is 2 days before her engagemant. (I know.. crazy huh..) This is consider a final trial to finalize everything... from the accessories, fresh flower, veil or selendang, the eyes makeup... and not to forget the hair style!

The trial was done at Pandan perdana btw (nearer for me to come over, compare to hulu langat) but the engagament this friday will be held at Hulu Langat. If you wish to see her final look, you have to wait until her engagement day :) Right now, i just want to show you all what happen during the finalize look yesterday. hav fun!

1. please be notes that 50% deposit is compulsary upon confirmation.

And please book your dates by pay me 50% deposit, i cannot accept your only words as a confirmed and booked.

most people tend to wait until the very last minutes to confirm, and thats really make my schedule really hectic.

the trial makeup was done at her office (Kementerian kewangan, putrajaya) during lunch hour. I had a good time with her and done my makeup in relax mood. No need to rush and i take most of the time blending the eyes to perfection! :)

Because purple color was chosen this time, i use the bodyshop festive sparkle makeup promo picture as my inspiration.

FREE MAKEOVER - Dania

uhh... its been a looong time i haven't update this blog. I suppose to upload this makeover last month, but my schedule was interupted by nature. I was sick, than later need to spend more time with my family (i just realize how busy i was few month ago and so that i only had few time with family) So, last few week was my time with family, plus my demam time. Soo sorry for the hiatus.

i dun remember when i makeover Dania actually (phew... long time already), but it was held at her apartment at bukit antarabangsa. Nice place! calm and serenity... but well, you read the news right... on what happend there. becoz of that tragedy, the land and property there has drop drastictly!

ok ok, back to the makeover thing. Dania requested for a trial makeup for engagement :) from what i know from her bf and our sembang2, she's having some issue with pink color. She's more to earth color brown tone, and hardly be seen in pink. She's quite scared with pink!

Well, 1 tip here for today. Don't be scared with pink! Some might think that pink is only for light skin tone. Oh, girl you are wrong! pink is for everyone! pink makes your skin glow, healthy and bring up your youth. The rule is, you must know how to applied it and NEVER over do with pink!

Of course, i gave Dania a touch of pink, so that she can see how pretty and glow she is, different from her normal day office wear makeup :)

6 in a row - sarah al-idrus family

the client is sarah al idrus.

my job is to makeup 6 person in the morning before her brother's wedding reception at 12.30. She requested a natural look makeup for all 6 of them, just enough to make them look a bit difference on the special day.

This job is somewhat challenging, and i was a bit worried at first, becoz of the limitation of time we had that morning. Imagine, 6 faces to be done in 3 and a half hours!

That morning, i came to her house at 8.30, and start my touch to the 1st face, which is sarah herself.

later, her mom! this is the lightest makeup ever! since, the mother is having a matured skin and complexion, i done it as light as possible, without eyeshadow and mascara. light foundation, a bit of blusher to make her look radiant and fresh, and a lippy to complete the look.

Then, we all move to the hall and i continue the unfinished job at the vip room. Start with her cousin...

This job was really tiring, overwhelming, and i can say its 1 of the most challenging job i've ever done. We were all rushing, the time was limited, i had no choice but doing my job fast, and at the same time, had to do it right! not forget to mention we had to changed place several time for certain reason and cause.

But it's all worth! They are all happy and satisfied with the result, and the reception was done great. i am happy as well, becoz they gave me this apportunity and wonderful experienced.

Her session was held at her house last saturday (10 Oct). i reached there about 3.30p.m ( unusual traffic jamm on saturday), and immedietly start my work. I'm in a rush actually becoz i had another client to makeup at 5p.m, which is Maryam. But, i never do my job "cikai-cikai", even in a limited time, or even for FREE session, i always put my best on my fingers.

so, here it is.. Jaslyn.
She's going to attend a dinner party that night, but she's having a serious pimples around her face! lucky her i was there to save her day :)

oh, btw... she also mentioned on her blog that she love the fact that i make her eyes look bigger. Well, that's what makeup can do, it makes you look presentable and enhance your beauty!

FREE MAKEOVER - maryam

maryam redeemed her free makeup for her dinner last saturday. She is pretty even without makeup. For her makeup, She knows what she want and what she like to be done on her face. She like to highlight more on her cheek, and less dramatic for her eyes.. so i put more blusher on her cheek to make it look pinkish and lessen the eyes makeup for more natural look.

the makeover was done last sunday (4/10/09) in her house at putra height. She redeemed the makeover to attend her family gathering that noon.

As usual, the makeup session was fun. Her daughters (she have 3's) are all excited. The youngest one, 2 years old, become juwita's new friend that day :) . She's really take part in her mom's makeover. Like she's watching me every single detail!

and btw, her house is really nice! i like the interior.

What a wonderful experience!! at first i was a bit worried, how is it like to makeup outdoor (well, usually we done makeup indoor, rite) but it turn out very well. Its like a family outing cum picnic for all of us, and i have a great time with sherry! she's a nice person and friendly :) i like makeup her
